Taste and Odor Problems (page 3)
The Commission is operating a pilot plant to evaluate the use ozone or ozone-hydrogen peroxide. The results to date have been favorable. The Commission is coordinating their research effort with the Chicago Water Department so the most effective method can be determined.

Temporary Action
Until this matter can be corrected residents are urged to refrigerate their drinking water. The decreased temperature helps alleviate the problem.
